Year: 2018

Our goals for this activation were pretty simple. Will people stop and look at it? Will they take their picture in front of it? Turns out, both and more. Along with the normal walk slow and stare attention, we were exceptionally pleased with the amount of literal interaction with the wall. People could keep their eyes and hands off it! It was a stop in the isle and check it out affair.
Illustration
Illustration was both a resolution and physical distance challenge for this project. With average viewing distance in the isle only 12 feet, we had to keep detail to a minimum while exploring images that would tell our stories.
We reused content to build a post convention social media campaign.
Storyboards
Although G-SMATT USA were incredible partners to work with and were kind enough to project our content on their warehouse demo setups, we needed a way to view the frames as we were building them, in real time. So, we built a simple overlay of “virtual pixels” and luma matted them on a master to keep track of how we were reading. PRO TIP: Full screen this vid and stand back. Remember, black is alpha (transparent).
